Is a totally natural mix that is absolutely HATED by ticks, fleas and mites. The aromatic combination of mint, seaweed, fenugreek, neem leaves and lemon balm should be simply sprinkled over your dog - or cat's food. Launched over 10 years ago, this mix is hugely popular and trusted while also being great for skin and coat condition.
Please note that we recommend you allow up to 6 weeks for this totally natural product to become totally effective so we would usually recommend starting in early March - although it can be used all year round.
To ensure the efficacy of BNM, please give your dog a short break before restarting.
If you suspect your dog has fleas before starting BNM, please consider using our Neem Shampoo which will kill fleas.
Available as a Herbal Sprinkle for food or as a concentrated Tincture..
Ingredients
Seaweed
Fenugreek
Mint
Neem leaves
Lemon balm
Administration
No age guideline is given by this manufacturer for puppies, but similar products (Proflax 'Keep Off Me') recommend for 16weeks and over. We recommend not over-dosing as it is possible to cause Liver damage if this is done.
This dried herb mix of mint, seaweed, fenugreek, neem leaves and lemon balm should simply be added to your dog - or cat's food. We recommend feeding Billy No Mates daily from the start of February/beginning of March as it takes about 4-6 weeks to fully enter the animal's system. Flea season typically starts around April/May with the warmer weather. Fleas and ticks tend to be less of a problem during the colder months from November, at which point you can give them a break from using Billy No Mates.
Daily rate, mixed with food:
small dogs / cats - half a 5ml scoop
small / medium dogs - 1 level 5ml scoop
medium / large dogs - 1 to 2 level 5ml scoops
horses / 4+ scoops
(scale up accordingly, larger size available on request - see FILLY NO MATES on the equine section).
Epilepsy: Fenugreek, one of the ingredients in Billy No Mates, can reduce seizure activity. Fenugreek can cause lowering of blood sugar so your dog’s insulin dosage may need to be adjusted/reduced. Always consult a veterinary surgeon before adjusting medication dosage. Always check with your veterinary surgeon before adjusting medication dosage.
